Description of the Various Services

Consecration of bread and wine at the Eucharist

Holy Communion

Held on Sunday Mornings (9:00 a.m.) and on Wednesdays in either chapel, a said service, with a sermon and unaccompanied hymn. A form in the language of the Book of Common Prayer Service 1962.

Sung Eucharist

A full choral service with choir according to the Book of Common Prayer, 1962. Musical settings are designed for full congregational participation, with more elaborate choral settings on some festive occasions.

Family Eucharist

At our Family Holy Communion children and young people worship with us in the church. Our organist and volunteer choir lead the music.

Morning Prayer

A full choral service with choir according to the Book of Common Prayer, 1962. The choir often sings a special setting of one of the canticles.

Crossroads Service

Diocese-wide youth service for the young and young-at-heart. Sponsored by Crosstalk Ministries, it contains lively singing of contemporary praise songs, drama, dance, audio-visual presentations, creative preaching, and prayer.
